Book Trade-In
We offer store credit for your gently used books
Trade Ins will be accepted any time that the shop is open!
However, please understand that when we are busy there may be a short wait as we prioritize helping customers who are shopping with us.

What can I use my credit on?
All accepted trade-ins will be issued store credit. Just let your bookseller know at checkout that you'd like to use your credit and they'll pull up your account.

Trade-in credit can be used for 50% off used book purchases and 10% off new book purchases. The remainder of your purchase must be paid in cash or card.
Example: For a $8.00 used book purchase, $4.00 will be deducted from the trade credit in your customer account and the remaining balance of $4.00 must be paid in cash or charge.

Trade-in credit cannot be used for any non-book items.

How does the process work?

When books are brought in, we will quickly go through to determine what we won't be able to accept. We will ask that you take these books home with you or you can choose to donate them.
From there we will be able to evaluate the books more closely and determine if we can purchase for the store. If we decide its not the right fit we will donate to The Clackamas Bookshelf, a local non-profit that supports children's literacy in Clackamas County.

Within the next week, we'll review your books and send you a notification of your credit!
We are always happy to share your account balance! Give us an email or a call.
