November Silent Book Club

Spoke & Word Books is an official Silent Book Club Chapter in Portland - everyone RSVPs and joins us for a reading hour at the store in silence. We welcome all readers - physical book, eReader, and audiobook listeners (with headphones!). In traditional book clubs there's the scramble to finish your book and then the pressure to have something meaningful to share! At Silent Book Club the pressure is off and the vibes are high, come join us!

Bring your own book to read, enjoy a peaceful ambience among the stacks, light refreshments provided. At the end of the reading hour you are invited to chat with fellow silent book club attendees or continue the peaceful vibe and shop the store.
